HNG Internship Stage 00 (UI/UX Design Task)
I just completed the HNG Learn landing page design, a single-page web experience that introduces a new initiative by HNG to help interns who exit during the group stages continue learning and growing.
Research & Design Thinking
I started by researching how learning platforms like Coursera and Scrimba structure onboarding pages.
My focus was clarity, motivation, and visual storytelling for beginners in tech.
I used a simple hierarchy: What HNG Learn is, Who it’s for, What they’ll gain, and How to join. I applied a modern layout, responsive grids, and flat tech illustrations to keep it clean and engaging.
Design Process
Defined the target audience (interns who dropped out, beginners).
Created a sitemap and section flow in Figma.
Built a color and typography system consistent with HNG’s official brand.
Designed both web and responsive views with strong CTAs like “Join HNG Learn.”
Tools Used: Figma, Lucide Icons, Flat Illustrations
Goal: Motivate learners to return and grow with structure, mentorship, and community.
I’m proud of how this turned out professional, clear, and user-focused.
